Ukrainian Delegation Visit
On March 26th, Ukrainian delegation visited TLU School of Educational Sciences. Among the 20 guests were kindergarten and school teachers, as well as school principals, who were eager to learn more about the opportunities in Estonian education and science.
The day was filled with inspiring presentations and activities, including a tour of the university, presentations on research projects and educational innovations, and an exploration of the EDUSPACE lab.
One of the main areas of interest for the Ukrainian delegation was our approach to STEM education. They were particularly intrigued by the projects in the EDUSPACE lab and how we integrate digital tools into the learning process. We demonstrated how educational technology can create new learning experiences and increase students' interest in science, technology, and mathematics.
Additionally, Junior Researcher Salome Khurtsidze presented the Master's program in Educational Innovation Leadership to the guests. The discussion focused on how education leaders can foster a collaborative culture and how an environment that supports the professional development of teachers and students can promote educational innovation.
The event provided valuable insights into the Estonian education system, explored opportunities for scientific collaboration, and discussed STEM education projects. The delegation gained a comprehensive overview of how Estonian science and educational innovation have supported the development of our universities and researchers.
We look forward to further opportunities to strengthen our collaboration and jointly advance research and educational innovation.
