Health Challenges
In addition to collecting steps, the Health Orientation Month will also focus on sleep and reading as part of the Estonian Book 500 year. You'll be automatically linked to health challenges in the Pacer app. All you have to do is indicate whether you slept enough and whether you took the time to read.
Health Challenge: Sleep at least 7 hours!
The importance of a good night's sleep cannot be underestimated as it has a direct impact on our physical and mental health. A good night's sleep helps us to study and concentrate better, making our studies easier and more efficient. It also invigorates your body and mind, giving you more energy and a better mood for every day!
Health challenge: Read for 15 minutes!
Reading helps you relax, reduces stress and keeps your brain sharp. It's like a workout for your mind - the more you read, the stronger and smarter you get! Reading a paper book before bed also helps you relax and improves the quality of your sleep, especially compared to using your phone or tablet. So taking even 15 minutes a day to read can have long-term benefits for both mental and physical wellbeing.
