Kai Pata (PhD) works at TLU School of Educational Sciences as a tenure track professor of adult and informal education. Her research areas are interdisciplinary, blending educational science in formal (all educational levels, capacity building, learning designs, learning ecosystems and sustainability studies), informal (workplace learning) and non-formal educational settings ( cultural resilience and learning in the communities, learning with digital heritage). She leads sustainability related research projects and the Lifelong learning research group.
