Introduction

Kristiina Bernhardt is a Junior Lecturer of Estonian as a Second Language Didactics at the Institute of Humanities of Tallinn University. She is pursuing a PhD at Tallinn University, focusing on teaching Estonian as a second language in primary school (grades 1-3). She has taught Estonian to adults at all language proficiency levels, worked as a trainer and training developer, and supervised master's theses related to teaching Estonian.
