Introduction
I am a cultural and developmental psychologist. My research focuses on psychosocial development in adulthood in relation to life-course transitions, including in the context of work-life balance and migration.
I am an alumnus of Tallinn University. In 2001, I defended here the BSc in Psychology and Social Pedagogy and in 2004 MSc in Psychology. I defended my PhD at the University of Bath in the United Kingdom in 2009.
I have worked as a researcher and lecturer at several international universities, including as a Researcher at Cardiff University in the UK and as a Senior Lecturer at Queensland University of Technology in Australia. Since 2019, I have been working as an Associate Professor of Psychosocial Work at Tallinn University.
In addition to my work at the university, I am also a practicing psychologist and family therapist.
