On Tuesday, 23 May at 14:00, Tiina Titma will defend her doctoral thesis "Cytotoxicity of Metal-based Nanoparticles in Epithelial Barrier Models". The defence will take place at M-648, Mare Building, Uus-Sadama 5.

The supervisor were Professor Ruth Shimmo from Tallinn University, and Research Professor Anne Kahru and Senior Researcher Jüri Siigur, both from the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics (Estonia).

The opponents were Researcher Kai Künnis-Beres from Tallinn University of Technology, and Senior Researcher Ivana Vinkovič from the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health (Zagreb, Croatia).
