iCal calendarKonverentsil tutvustatakse laiemalt viimasel ajal immigrantrahvastiku peamiseks andmeallikaks saavate registritega seotud küsimusi, ÜRO migratsioonistatistikale kujundatavaid uusi soovitusi rände ja immigrantrahvastiku defineerimiseks ning antakse ülevaade perekonnadünaamikast Skandinaavias. Konverentsi põhirõhk on uute teadustulemuste tutvustamisel, mis on valminud projekti "Üleminekud eluteel ja leibkonnakoostises: põlis- ja immigrantrahvastik Venemaal, Eestis ja Soomes " raames Ӱ ja Turu Ülikooli teadlaste koostöös.
